General Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) –

La Boussole

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (T&Cs) govern the contractual relationship between La Boussole, a SASU registered with the Melun Trade and Companies Register, and any individual (hereinafter “the Client”) enrolled in an event or spiritual retreat organized by La Boussole.
They form the sole basis of the commercial relationship and are communicated to every Client prior to registration. In accordance with Article L.441-1 of the French Commercial Code, they take precedence over any other document.

Identification of La Boussole

La Boussole is a simplified joint-stock company (SASU), registered under number 933996613 at the Melun Trade and Companies Register, with its registered office at 18E Rue du Château, 77140 Saint-Pierre-lès-Nemours (France), represented by Mrs. Sandrine Ferreira as President.
The company specializes in event organization, spiritual retreats, and women’s well-being experiences, in France and in Bali.

Scope of Application

These T&Cs apply to all services offered by La Boussole, including the organization and coordination of spiritual retreats, personal development experiences, workshops, and women’s well-being events.
They govern the terms of sale, payment, cancellation, and liability between La Boussole and the Client.

Legal Nature of the Service

La Boussole operates exclusively as an event organizer and personal support facilitator within the meaning of the French Civil Code.
It does not offer or resell travel or accommodation packages as defined under Articles L.211-1 et seq. of the French Tourism Code.
Air and ground transport bookings are made directly by the Client or by partner travel agencies registered with Atout France (France) or in Portugal.
Participation in an event includes the privatization of an accommodation venue for the event’s duration, as well as all necessary on-site services.
La Boussole does not market travel packages and, where required, acts through its partners as a transparent intermediary.

Registration and Acceptance of the T&Cs

Registration for an event organized by La Boussole is made through a dedicated registration form or contract.
All registrations imply full acceptance of these T&Cs.
Information provided by the Client must be accurate and complete.
La Boussole reserves the right to refuse registration for legitimate reasons, including failure to meet participation conditions.

Prices, Deposit, and Payment Terms

Prices are quoted in euros, inclusive of all taxes, and include only the services expressly mentioned in the event description.
A non-refundable deposit is required at registration, with the balance due according to the payment schedule specified in the contract.
Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of the booking without refund.
Payments are made by bank transfer or any other method accepted by La Boussole.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellation by the Client must be notified in writing (email or letter).
Deposits are non-refundable, except in cases of duly justified force majeure.
For cancellations less than 60 days before the event, the total amount remains due.
If La Boussole cancels the event for legitimate or exceptional reasons, a rescheduling or refund will be offered.

Program Modifications or Guest Replacement

La Boussole reserves the right to adjust the program, activities, or guest speakers, particularly in case of unavailability.
Such modifications shall not give rise to refunds, provided the overall nature of the retreat remains intact.
Guest participation is planned but not guaranteed.

Liability

La Boussole undertakes to use all reasonable means to ensure the successful completion of its events.
It shall not be held liable for material, physical, or immaterial damages occurring during the event, nor for services provided by third parties (accommodation, transport, local activities).
The Client participates under her own responsibility and must comply with instructions from the organizing team.
Each Client is responsible for obtaining personal insurance coverage.

Insurance

La Boussole holds Professional Civil Liability Insurance covering its event organization activities.
The Client must personally subscribe to insurance covering travel, cancellation, health, and civil liability abroad.

Personal Data Protection

Data collected is necessary for the administrative and commercial management of registrations and processed in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679).
Clients may exercise their right of access, rectification, or deletion by writing to laboussolebali@gmail.com.

Force Majeure

Neither party shall be held liable for non-performance resulting from force majeure (natural disasters, administrative decisions, strikes, epidemics, etc.).
In such cases, contract performance is suspended for the duration of the event preventing execution.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These T&Cs are governed by French law.
Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts of La Boussole’s registered office, unless otherwise provided by consumer law.

Final Provisions

The potential nullity of one clause shall not affect the validity of the others.
Failure to enforce a clause temporarily shall not constitute a waiver of its future application.

Terms of Use (ToU) – La Boussole

These General Terms of Use (“ToU”) define the terms and conditions governing access to and use of the website www.laboussole-bali.fr (“the Site”), published by La Boussole.
By browsing the Site, the user fully and unreservedly accepts these ToU.
